Missing my "second home" already - and we just got back a month ago..... Sigh....
I know the feeling ..we were there in April but another 6 months to go sadly could only get 10 nights at Rooiputs next April

Lions on a dune after sunset ..time to get going to get back to camp in time ..looks like we are late already ..Oh wait this is Rooiputs and we arrived well on time so we are IN camp here very close to our camp site and notice that tonight it is empty ..we are alone with 2 lovely cats to keep guard over us ...Its what I live for this type of encounter ...I know Jane would prefer a full camp and a fence in this type of encounter but she loves getting home and telling the family and friends of her 'experiences ' out there in nowhere land with her crazy husband

Yes ..not seeing lion at Rooiputs is like staying in London for 6 months and not seeing any Red Double Decker London Buses or Yellow Cabs in Downtown Manhatten :-0 0/*

I suppose this young one and her sibling are fully independent of mother 6 months after we were there in April when she was busy teaching them to hunt ..got a bit gruesome at times as they were inexperienced
