Okay, I'm sitting on a verandah looking out over...Oops, not a reserve!
New: Looking through a wire fence into veld at an elephant close by. There are mopaniveld and other trees between me and the road that goes to a dam.

Ok - serious now. You are sitting in a camp that has wire fence. The elephants come quite close to this camp.
Being Mopanieveld - it then is definetly not in Marloth - but more north in the Kruger ???
The road that goes to the dam could be - Olifantspan - but no camp nearby.... shucks.
Maybe to pioneer dam or stapelkop dam ????
Except for elephants, what is most common game around that part 8)

Many trees are in the vicinity... what's the vegetation like. :P
