There is a clear path laid out and although I felt like going up hands and feet,
I made it to the top. Sitting in the hide with all the boulders around me,
I could see the whole camp, still peaceful and most still asleep.
As soon as the sun is up, we will go on our game drive,
So let me enjoy the company of all the dassies 'jolling' around so early.

Do you know where I am....
the kids didn't either, -O

somewhere not that north, not east, and not west -

leaving the cup country..just inside the borders of blue country

.......thinking how short of breath I was yesterday travelling here,
I realised too late how much dust had accumulated in the car,
and the stretch of dust road could go on and on,
but the aircon worked wonders within minutes.
I had also forgotton that this area was a good 3-5 degrees warmer than home...
and I wonder how the thorn trees actually grow through all this dust :)

ah back to the dassies. I can hear camp waking up, and brekkies on the go,
these beautiful chalets with their tall grass roofs are very well set out in the bush.
giving each one his own privacy and space to move
And the swimming pools look ever so inviting.
Life is good... while it becomes still in me, gratitude overwhelms me with the beauty of all creation

Grab a map if you feel you've never been in the area. See what lies just into Blue Bull country - google this well known park and you might find it a great weekend get away (ummmmh .... I don't earn shares in it -O -O )

Although this park does not have the big 5, there was enough reason to pack the binoculars, camera equipment, maps and note books.
The birdlife is wonderful.
These were the thoughts that were racing through my head as we crossed over the 4-way crossing at Harties, direction North. I knew it wouldn't be very far now, and tomorrow morning I can do the small climb to the hide and share all my thoughts with the dassies.

Dead give-away : dassies.

Leachy, not so much like flooze, the biker chick,
but part of an outreach programme - carrying around a lot of love plasters to heal hurting peeps hearts
and sometimes carrying the torch for them - in more ways than one. :) :)
I used to ride a 900 Ninja - Grm-dbn grm-pbg grm-bfn grm ... now you know why I never got into parks... they wouldn't allow us in... :P

My trip started in Germiston, past Lanseria, over the 4way crossing at Harties onto Brits.
From there I took the Dikololo road - a bad stretch of dirt road.
There's a rocky hill half off-centre of the camp where dassies have a ball.
It is actually very quiet up there early morn, if you manage to slip the kiddies.

Thanks for playing with..... I know there is somebody out there dying to have a chance at this.... GO FOR IT \O

Leachy is an ex-biker...to add to his many talents...

So Pilanesberg/Dikhololo Camp was the answer.

And we shall wait for leachy! There must be some semblance of order here!
