Let us permit nature to have her way. She understands her business better than we do.
Re: A Flutter with a Few Firsts
I thoroughly enjoyed this short and sweet TT
Some of us are of the theory the lions are seen on the Orpen roads less of recent times, because of strong hyena clans in the area. It is just a theory of coarse ... but strong clans can affect lions areas of movement! Every day in November Heksie and I found hyena sightings!! Perhaps the tables will turn once more for the Goldens

Flutterby, I've just read your trip report from start to finish , I also feel the same about Tamboti as you do. We stayed there for 6 nights in July 2012 and I felt is was way to long. We have booked again this year (December) BUT only for 2 nights (from 24th to 26th). Love all your photos, thank you for sharing with us

Flutterby, we have requested tent number 1 for the 2 nights we will be in Tamboti. Any thoughts on our choice?

Re: A Flutter with a Few Firsts
We stayed in 22 last time (as per Bushcraft's advice) and will request it again, and it's the only tent I know. -O It has a lovely open view to the river and a short walk to the kitchen and ablutions.
