For a start I should learn how to tell apart the male and the female in Barbets 0' -O-

Also worthwile to look into the effects of having two houses for a couple :-?

I can contribute a bit to your study so long:

Male Crested Barbets is brighter in colour, specially the red, but even the yellow is a nice bright yellow.

Human males are duller in colour than females and don't do house chores...!

Not only in colors. The older they get the duller they get :O^ 0*\ They even
stop dancing the Cha Cha Cha (this is a personal observation) (0!)
