Re: Braai in Kruger
Nothing stopping you from bringing your own braai, BC.
When I had my previous camping outfit with my combi, I always had my own braai with me and used it.
As far as I am aware, the only rule is that you may not make a fire on the bare ground.

So if my braai sits on the floor or just above the floor I can use it in KNP.
I like a fire at feet level.
I have seen people do this at Croc Bridge in an old skottel top
I thought that one was only permitted to make fires in designated spots and not cruise around with a braai to wherever one wants

Not sure about that, could be. I was talking about using your own braai in a camp.Bushcraft wrote:I thought that one was only permitted to make fires in designated spots and not cruise around with a braai to wherever one wants

Re: Braai in Kruger
I've seen people braai on their own braaiers at picnic sites too! Shouldn't be a problem! But don't start one of your conflagrations at random on the ground somewhere...

Re: Braai in Kruger
i am sure it would be fine if sprocky loads up a "barrel" braai
onto the back of his bakkie when he comes through to the mini-meet in april
the future is not what it used to be
