My choice would be Mpila camp
I have only seen lions once in the Hluhluwe section since 2011, but have done 9 trips to Mpila since 2011 and most have only been for 1 or 2 nights and have only missed out on lion once and never on ellies.
But Toko is correct, lions and ellies are more difficult to find when compared to KNP south.
6 days for your entire holiday, then KNP only
Potential Trip?

I am thinking the same.
I only come to SA once a year, and have one short wildlife trip.
So I think on balance, Kruger is the better option.
Thanks all for the advice.

We've also been considering a trip to the KZN parks, and weighing the pros and cons, but Kruger always wins first prize.
