You decide whether that is positive or not

I shall be more selective in my choice of wine from now on.

Hey , I haven't finished the Alaska TR yet
And that was only 10 years ago , and now you expect me to write about something 8 years prior to that ?
I must say though , it was great fun .
We got accommodation in a newly built lodge on the bank of Yellowstone lake . Supposed to be with good lake views , but we were on the ground floor , and snow was still piled up against the building , including covering our " grand view " window , completely obliterating the view .
I used to take a few bottles of South African red wine with us on travel , and we decided to drink one of these sitting in our lodge room . And in order to chill the wine , I opened the window , and stuck the bottle into the snowbank for about 5 minutes . It tasted absolutely fantastic
Enough is enough

You've obviously got style Okie. Snow chilled wine is the way forwards.

For a white wine - 5 to 8 degrees is fine .
For a red - around 13-15 degrees .
Oh , and by the way . Stellenbosch does not necessarily produce the best wines in South Africa .
