The dwarf Mongoose may be small but I think this little carnivore may be braver than I will ever be.

Photo taken while traveling along the track that runs along the southern bank of the Sweni river from Sweni Wilderness Camp, KNP, towards Marheya Dam. It was taken with my walking lens but if I zoom out you can see what I mean about bravery.

There were actually 12 lions lying around and waking up for the evening. The mongoose was completely still all the time we were at the sighting.
