Aat, I was just looking back over a few pages here and saw your explanation about the 'grass notch' on some tusks. This was something I had not known about at all and when someone is able to give me a wonderful piece of new knowledge about the wildlife we love...well that is really appreciated. So thank you.

The tusker is Muliluane but has died

My boet, Supernova took most of the pics as I didn't have a camera, however snapped the 1st pic with 1 of his cameras

I believe that he was shot, but can't remember all the details

Jo! A big Southern Ellie!

We found this elephant some 2 years ago at Ngotso North watering point.

He was alone at the time and performed magnificently posing for us.

We found him to be one of the most photogenic elephants we ever encountered.

Not a "TUSKER" yet but we hope he will be less severe on his tusks in future so that they can grow to larger proportions.
