I've been pondering about digital or traditional bird book for a while now. :-?
Still am in favour of the good old book. But then again, I don't do phone apps
(or rather my ancient phone :o0ps: ) and don't have anything downloaded to my laptop either,
so can't really compare.

I was given a Roberts app program for my laptop during December. I am loving it - a new world of learning. \O

SA.Birds had/has a special on for R499 or you can purchase at Incredible Connection for R750.

I must admit that the book looks far nicer on your bookshelf than a mobile phone would. ;-)

But then again, it's not very practical in the field.

Just picked up on this tread after posting and getting not very far on the "yellow" (Why would you want to do that???? etc etc etc)

My question is, Roberts or Sasol.

I have iphone or ipad mini available for me and Trish has the Kindle

We were thinking Bird book for the ipad/phone and Safari Companion for the Kindle

Thoughts???

Mike
