BIRDING IN GAUTENG - Bonaero Park Dam

This is my first attempt to post a video ;-)

Bonaero Park is part of the East Rand Pans. This video was shot at a field nearby. It appeared that this was their nesting ground.
Dewi, maybe you can shed more light as to this mass gathering.

Amoli that's the area where I work, you should see it in summer, lots more birds even flamingos ^Q^

Hi Amoli,

Looks like a feeding frenzy. There must have been a hatch or glut of invertebrates there to attract them.

Gulls also gather together in large roosts. \O
