Day 12. Friday 30 May 2014. Balule -> Lower Sabie.
Our last full day in the park so it's time to pack up the camp- for the final time this trip and head off to Lower Sabie for our last night in a hut.
As we packed up we found a couple of other things that were sharing our campsite.
An African Cockroach.
And a Guttural Toad.
We stopped for breakfast at Satara - what a difference M&B makes! The service was great, the food was good and the coffee was delicious; a massive difference to times gone by!
As we walked to the car we spotted this weird creature in the bushes near the car park, a Stalk-eyed Fly (Diopsis Sp.??)
There was a traffic jam about 50 metres south of the camp entrance. It turned out to be Wild Dogs but they were hidden in the bushes and the best view we managed was this.
At one of the large dams between Satara and Tshokwane there were some Giraffes drinking.
I took a panorama.
On the H-10.
We checked in and did a short afternoon drive on the s28 / S130 and S137. No Leopard in The Tree this time
But we did spot some unmentionables.
And we had a spectacular sunset.
Lower Sabie at dusk.

Hunting cannot be considered a sport as all contestants in a sport should know they are playing the game!
