Thanks PRWIN - yes using the Tamron. I feel like I'm still learning how to get the best out of it, but I was really pleased with some of the shots of the lion - particularly the ones of Roy \O

This little one has a fascination with Roy who was following along further behind

My favourite snap of the sighting - the fascination with Roy continued and the little tyke appeared to be stalking him =O:

The pic of Gina and Josie is very nice. They are sisters, aren't they? They look very much alike O:V

And of course I continue to want to cuddle the cubs. they are just too cute ;-)

Josie is Gina's daughter from a litter in 2008 \O
I must start that Addo Lion thread you were suggesting! Just been too busy 0*\

This is the last set of shots. After travelling along near the southern access road, the lion convoy moved up over a rise and out of sight. I think quite a few people thought that was it and drove off, but we took a guess as to where they were heading so parked up on Harveys Loop where we expected them to appear. After waiting what seemed like an age, and wondering if we had got their route wrong, out they popped from the bushes and came down a path towards us and right along next to our car. It was exhilarating to have the cubs just next to us, but it was a bit scary pointing a big lens towards them with Gina keeping a close eye on everything (I'm not one to wind windows up even for lion) O** O**

The whole family together (even Roy at the back)

And before I forget, here's a short video clip of them. You can see how fast the cubs are moving already - makes them quite tricky to photograph =O:
