So, off we went, booking out of camp and heading along the river road towards our change of camp.

Screamed Jani & Karla in unison, tearing great holes in our eardrums as we pulled over to the side of the road to watch the troop as it wandered by.
"Kyk na die baba bobbejane." Was the next sentence from them, repeated several times as a mother and baby passed by close to the van.
They were marvelling on how the little baboon was hanging upside down clinging to it's mothers fur.
They were worried that it would fall and hurt itself, especially when the mother picked up speed.
Some of the baboons took just as much of an interest in us as we were with them.
But the kids were just as happy playing "peekaboo" with the young baboons.
Another youngster looked to be a lot more comfortable than the first one.
While the adolescents scampered by a little nervously.
