Tearful reunion, I'm so glad to be back on African soil, hosted by Michele. She prepared a fabulous program and we already leave the next day to West Coast, Dunepost, Eland Bay, Lambert Bay, Darling, Witzenberg.

I will post the name of the birds in French too, for my nephew.

The start is wacky .... a tire issue (and modem) makes us "lose" a few hours. This is the beginning of the great adventures.
It seems that all snakes are given the word to wake up that day. Puff Adder, Mole Snake and other unidentified are on the edge of the small roads of the national park, or still in life, for my happiness, or crushed by people too rushed!

We stop to all hides, well almost, and the adventure continues, my camera fails ... because of a battery. We had hot ... both of us.
Dunepost, which I already knew, is a really nice camp. Large kitchen/dining room/living room, 2 bedrooms and terrace.

After a good night, we leave for the north, Eland Bay , Lambert Bay in search of Ganets. Always the same snakes.... dead and alive. The scenery is beautiful, green, summer has not burned everything. I'm finally in the summer, a summer absent this year in Central Europe. It's still a bit fresh to eat on the terrace in the evening. Regardless, I'm there for seven weeks.

A little bit further, some Caterpillars ask our attention… what nice eyes they have, and a tiny Tortoise harrased by Crows and need help to not finish like all these Snakes… Michele do it and we can have a picture
