Re: 10 Signs You Might be Addicted to Birding
1.You’ve visited a public restroom with binoculars around your neck. binocs, cameras, i-pad...
2. You’ve voluntarily visited a sewerage farm. including the dump at least once a month
3.You’re known to brake (with no warning) for tits, bishops and chats. flat spots on the tyres...
4. In nature reserves, you often confuse other visitors inquiring about what you’ve seen so far. We use to say "Bee-eaters!" now, "Oh the leopard just disappeared... "
5. You’ve got a “Birding, Please Pass.” sticker on your vehicle. we don't have one on our vehicle, but I've bought them for friends who's really birds crazy!
6. You’ve done high-speed birding on a highway. and just last week near Carltonville/Potch road we've spotted Northen Black Korhaan twice! and on the Platinum a Long-crested Eagle the other day!
7. You keep extensive and organized bird lists. I even keep a "Birdie Journal" of what I see in our garden and next to the road, I wright down behavior and what and how much they eat...
8.You plan your holidays around birding spots. Oh yea, the whole reason to go anywhere... and it's time go somewhere where I can hear the Woodland Kingfishers ASAP!
9.You have more than one bird guide. How about 35 plus books and everything digital, plus magazine subscriptions.
10. You’ve spent good money to see a rare species. nope, this we have not done yet... I like to be surprised.
So if it's not 10 out of 10, I need no rehad

Rehab is a bird park anyway.

12. You can come up with enough of your own pictures to illustrate the "Twelve Days of Christmas" using only birds.
On the Twelfth day of Christmas
My true love gave to me...
Twelve Ring-necked Doves
Eleven Cormorants nesting
Ten Jackass (apologies) Penguins
