On 23rd October 2014, we were travelling from Punda to Shingwedzi, on the H1-7, when we came onto this guy grazing next to the road. He only had one large, left tusk as you can see.

Another named one I have seen is SHIPENE. He is not a large bull but his tusks are beautiful and thick and long for his statue and age.
Before I show his picture, this was the situation at Boyala Waterhole (between Shingwedzi and Babalala)
We counted 28 bulls all close to this waterhole and most of the time you could not see the waterhole at all...completely surrounded by bulls... with 2 , one and even without tusks. Shipene is the one with the big tusks in the middle of the photo
Shipene is still relative young and his tusks are very very promising. I think he will be one of the bigger ones in near future.
