You are so right and I love them all. Actually I am not at all a "Big Five" person. You forgot the birds though 0*\

The regiment of warties is great, the mongoose family so cute and the klipspringer in the air very well caught!

What I loved about this pic of the klippie was that he jumped and I caught him in mid-air...
The kudu was about 40m from the car and the grass was long, I guess those flowers are a type of lilly based on the leaves? I didn't see any flowers though...

@ Toko
I got them in Skukuza, they were here again in March 2015 but I couldn't get any kiekies of them, they are so cute and cuddly.
We have been very lucky with the Reedbuck, especially around Lower Sabie (H10/S128 area)

@AMoli
It was a great sigting, seeing 3 leopard cubs all together, not that I've seen a leopard cub ever... It was a special Wayland sighting that we experienced as a family.
As Wendy and I enjoyed the sighting a car sped toward us, they chased the klipspringers away and then she stopped next to us and asked what we are looking at.? (0!) @#$ I just shook my head, didn't even answer the women and drove on...

@Pumbaa
Thanks for the compliments O0

Episode 14… the wisest of them all

I haven’t been so lucky in spotting them in the Park, I had my first sighting only in July 2013. I also have only been able to spot 4 species so far, scopsie, pearl spotted, Verraux and the Spotted Eagle owl. I have so many more on my list, but with time I will be able to see them, if I’m lucky. Here is some kiekies that I was able to take of the night time predators of the sky:

September 2013
Was seen on the S28
Image

July 2014
Spotted on the S100

And on the S46

These two owls were H1-6 on either side of the road just before the Tsendze camp dirtroad

December 2014
My closest encounter with a Pearlie on the S65

To be continued…
