A visit to the western side of Zim is now being planned for March 2016
Matopos, Hwange and Vic Falls again - to see what we didn't see last time
then back through Botswana.
I wish my life away looking forward to these trips
Polentswa I love that pic at Mana with the ellie so close.
That is on the bucket list for a return visit

Mana Pools - 1989 - Elephant between us and the loo when we arrived. The ferry trip was amazing and will remain a highlight of our trip that year. In camp, we decided to sleep on the back of the bakkie (truck) instead of in our tent. Put the cooler box in the tent. In the morning the hyena had ripped open the box and taken the cheese and butter Went for a walk with the game guard which was magical and took a canoe on the river, paddling amongst buffs and hipps - all snorting at us and making me giggle with fear Our camp site consisted of a tree with a tap attached to it - wonderful!
