Halfway stop between Pretoria and Kgalagadi.
Please can anyone tell me where they stop between Pretoria and Twee Rivieren?

Some of our members coming from Jo'berg or Pretoria have stopped at the Red Sands Lodge in Kuruman:

Bushveld Jock mentioned this: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review ... vince.html
on a different thread.
Other than that, I'd say detour to Kimberly and off to Mokala.

STF,
We normally try to get as close as possible, so that the last day is very short. Best road is via Upington and although longer than VanZylsrus the time to travel the same. In the link below you will find lots of options closer to the park on the red-dun-route in the brochure you can download.

We have decided to can the Kgalagadi trip - too cold.
Going to do a train/bus trip to see the flowers rather.
Will leave Kgalagadi until a warmer month - any suggestions.
