The white-crested helmetshrikes are difficult to photograph, never sit still, very well done, Alf and of course a Toko sighting is tops!

So we were in bed by 7pm all fast asleep. And even the next morning all the aliens slept late

Sleeping late in Kruger?

Never stayed at Mopani but looks very pleasant.

Yeah the other aliens slept late, not me

SO never got any sleep the night before and we were in the car the whole day so everyone were tired.

So we left camp just after 9am for a quick morning drive

We drove the S142 Shongololo loop


Frazerus was too far away from the road to even see the concrete dam. Ntomeni were dry


Then we stopped at Uitspan and even this big dam were dry


Getting back on the tar road we saw these elephants at Eendrag waterhole. They found water


Next stop is Tihongonyeni waterhole where we saw our first...............
