Nice accommodation. The faffing around would also drive me mad.

Sounds like a word, that's better not to translate

I have also stayed there RP, so will dig out pics to add to yours
My hamster attitude would take strain if you were getting "frustrated" with the faffing

Sharp, BC!
"Faffing" means "pointlessly wavering and wasting time without any sense of purpose", Lis...one may think they do it intentionally, but they don't...in their own worlds half the time...
It would drive anyone mad!
BC would probably politely strangle them barehanded, so best they don't meet!

Re: Richprins' Short Business Trips to The Park
Next morning...alone as usual...
So back onto the umbilicals around PK...
Another busy ellie in the Faai area...
Crouch!
Set!
Engage!
The tree survived, but amazing how it was shivering and shaking...destructive bullies these things!
I decided to skip the morning abuse at camp, and went straight on to Shitlhave....
Buffalo had replaced the reedbuck...
Round the back of the lookout is a smaller dam, and I was just in time!
Once again, the dam wall was the route!
I parked in the second row of cars, and they kept on coming....a huge herd!
The condition of some was poor here too....
A very young addition!
And racing back to camp for brunch in my new car...no that day!

The dark grey clouds in your first picture do look very promising, Richprins
