Thats it, not going. too many damn locals. lolololol
On a serious note, we did a little more research and were shocked to read that there were no Ellie, Rhino's or Buffs in the area. I gotta be honest, one
of the main reasons I like KNP is the Rhino's, ( they gotta be my #1 of all time)
For this reason alone, I think we have taken the decision to forego KTP and return to KNP for our holiday in 2017
We are due back in Kruger in November 2016, ( fly out 12th) and I will let you have our itinerary once we have finalised.
Hopefully we can meet up with some of the crowd once again.
Cheers for now
Mike

Ok, Mike, I agree...KNP rules!
Let us know, and glad you're still around.

Re: First Trip (possibly) to KTP
I shall not try to convince you to got to the KTP as it is way too crowded by now as it is
I'll just say that I went there once and have never returned to the Kruger since.

I also went there ones.....and returned to KNP, but on the same trip as KTP we went to Addo, because we could not go home without having seen an elephant or 87
To be completely honest, it was not completely because of KTP, but mainly of the Nossob camp, the heat and my husband did not like it a lot. no patience
We both loved Urikaruus though

1st time for KTP
I am thinking of trying this place out for first time next year. Thinking of about 10 days in park. What time of year should I aim for and what camps would you do?
