The herds departed Spekboom in the direction of Hapoor so while they were out in full force we went back round that way to catch them on the approach
I was excited to see which big bull was bringing up the rear of this family group - it was John Kruger... one of the bulls introduced from Kruger a number of years back. He made a very impressive approach and despite being in musth was very tolerant of our close proximity to him.
We were also lucky enough to get a better view of the tiny tot who we had seen at Spekboom.
It's amazing that this little one kept up with the herd on the walk across to Hapoor... my kids wouldn't have been able to go so fast
By this time our tummies were rumbling so we cruised up to the main camp for some lunch. Along the way we came across a totally flat lion and another big tusker
