The long-crested eagle - what a great find!!! :-0

Don't talk to me about the emeralds though... Saw one on the very first morning, sitting on the road still in Matyholweni camp.
But of course it took off before I could have landed a shot. Never saw one again. :O^ At least not that I would know of. O**

The cheetah were kind to us again today and had made a kudu kill a short way off the road. I've got millions of photos to sort out but here are a couple to be going on with.... more to follow I'm sure lol lol

As far as I can see there can't have been any lasting damage. It's amazing how quickly they can heal - Josie had two really big gashes from a warthog that went through her cheek... she basically had gills :shock: You'd never know it happened looking at her now ;-)
