Re: Land Claims in Kruger
The very grey area of PDZ, Peripheral Development Zone!!
just kicked in thoroughly,...
We have become a country, purposefully taking ethical
standards to task!!! Our leader has exposed this countries
natural resources to the wider world out there, thinking
for what it may be worth!!!
This methodology can be classed as exposing oneself to RAPE.
A cheapskate attitude attracts menial understanding!!!

Re: Land Claims in Kruger
One wonders where this process will end According to a recent interview our esteemed leader wishes to take land claims back to the 1800's so who know what can of worms that will open .My mind boggles trying to figure out how the majority of these claims are substantiated in the real world environment ?

Re: Land Claims in Kruger
Is there a reason why they are all claims on land in and around the Kruger Park

Hluhluwe also had land claims (one was settled in 2008, other ones might be ongoing)

Kruger Park land claimants want answers over compensation
Katleho Sekhotho | a day ago
JOHANNESBURG - While the Commission of Restitution of Land Rights has committed to financially compensating families displaced from the Kruger National Park during apartheid, questions have been raised by some as to when they will be paid out.
Some claimants have criticised government, saying R110,000 per household is not sufficient.
Six communities in Mpumalanga will receive a total of R84 million.
Claimant Nelson Mona says they urgently need the money to pay off their children’s school fees. He adds they also have other family responsibilities.
"We’re struggling and they haven’t told us when we’re getting the money or how the payments will work."
About 318,000 hectares of land was taken from hundreds of communities at the Kruger National Park by the government.
A total of 17 claims were lodged against the park by locals in 1998.
