there is another one 200-400 with an extender 1,4x included... much more expensive

I have also heard that the Canon 100-400 II is a really superb lens. Part of me would love to 'upgrade' to it, but I'm not sure I want to part with the Tamron yet

Right I tested a 100-400mk11 today, Boy is it fast compared to the sigma 120-400 I was using, nearly as fast as the 400 F5.6. Placed it on the 5D with a 1.4 extender and there was a major difference in speed, They say that with the 7dMK11 there is not much difference, I noticed it straight off . Will be testing it in the days to come on tracking and focus speed. So far so good

Only had 7m to pick him up, focus and shoot as he came around the building at full tilt, like I said it is quite fast
