Poor Kruger Park, poor nature lovers This is the begining of the end
I wonder if there is any way to stop this madness?

Re: Sanparks embarks on a huge investment drive
I'd say if you want to see Kruger wild like it is now book your accommodation asap and see your beloved Kruger and enjoy it because in a few years there will be no animals to see in the wild only a flippen zoo
To SANparks I say your greedy and you don't give a horses back side about conserving our heritage Kruger is going down the drain just like the rest off this pathetic country

Hmmm.... yes During our visit last week to Kruger , and whilst in the restroom at Letaba , a couple of black guys came in . I greeted them , saying " how are you today " , to which the one guy said : " I am jubilant to be here to enjoy Kruger "
I smiled , and replied " And I am jubilant that Kruger is still here for both of us to enjoy "

Enough is enough

Re: Sanparks embarks on a huge investment drive
This is not really so new, it heppens every so often.
But this is the pont, and a thing that bedevils the entire country.
One of my life-changing moments was when colleague Ralph Sibande, a community member, stated at the buffalo debate in Skukuza a few weeks ago that SANParks were on the wrong path, prioritising commercialisation and social upliftment over conservation.
This was before the entire top Kruger management and head-Cheerleader, and they were all only slightly surprised before continuing with their preconceived and condescending spin. (Except for Head Ranger Funda).
Instead of spending the rest of the meeting discussing this far more important essential core philosophy discrepancy, which is after all the "motivation" for SP's bullshit moneymaking.
The tired old obfuscation that SP needs to fund itself and make money is an outright lie. SP makes millions in profit every year, as reflected in their annual statements. They cannot hide this, as tenderpreneurs would otherwise not be interested, which proves the point!!!!!
In other words, there is money to be made, which is the message sent out. There is Government authorisation for this looting from the highest levels, as SP always points out, which is a very necessary piece of the puzzle for a secure parasite deal. F conservation and poorer tourists, and foreign tourists for that matter. Make no mistake, if National Parks do collapse as a turning point between appeal and overconsumption is reached, the vultures will move on to another lucrative setting, if there is another one, or just bask in their profits.
This is exactly the environment in which noxious public asset looting has been taking place over the last decade in the rest of South Africa. And as always it is the useful idiots who stick their heads in the sand as consumers, doing nothing, and bitching when they will not have their paradise anymore. It is sad when a community member has to have the guts to point this out...things are terribly wrong.

Re: Sanparks embarks on a huge investment drive
Oly shit RP, kicking the crux right in the matter.
Confucious, once empted, "think backwards in order
to go forward" currently a very obvious tendency in the
nuthouse!!! Only, and for the least, direction would be
profitable!!
The whole world beats down the famous path, go West!!
.gov will manage east!!! A rather strange phenomena!!!
The whole world manages to spin in a direction, our dot
gov will manage the opposite!!
Is this just merely a indication of being obnoxious and
counter productive toward mutual understanding for the
sake of proving a point!!!
Getting to the top of hierarchy takes much understanding,
managing it, I can understand, will take just a tad more effort!!
Brings to mind about "thinking out the box syndrome" rather a
ironic statement!!
The whole world managing a thought pattern, regarding poaching,
commercialization of natural asset, exploitation of mineral resources,
and lo behold, dear .gov manage to employ a thought pattern quite the
contrary!!!
Quite the contrary got .gov to power!!
Once in power, does this mean and stand as a norm in life for successful
establishment where all can benefit?
I doubt it, a sad method of practice has established itself within our
natural assets,.!!!, being deliberately opposed to any good reasoning
just for the sake of recognition.

Gov. will be out of power eventually, with a sad legacy, but the tide is turning slowly. Emperor with no clothes after all...
Worst case is a civil war, with Kruger a base for either side killing all animals to fund it, but I don't think so!

Re: Sanparks embarks on a huge investment drive
