\O Have a couple of lion sightings also and this was all within 25km of camp. I didn't get to drive Red Rocks road and only drove up to Babala via Mphongola on day before we left. This trip was probably the least driving distance wise I have done..

Sounds as if the doggies are feeling at home :-)

Strange that a limping animal is the alpha male. Normally among animals it is the strongest and most perfect example. Is it the alpha female choosing the male? and if so, maybe he had not yet lost the foot when chosen :-?
