You did freeze the Espandrilles, uhm, Esperantos, eish, Enchiladas... Esbanditos or whatever that dish is called...
Right?
Like those two giraffes on the road and your hidden sun photos are nice too

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: Dimwits Bateleur 2017 - The Shining
We left early next day...we always leave early when going home as the Dimwits miss their families! (Actually they are normally just angry! )
The little alien waking up to say g'bye. Notice how bald the big alien is!
It was cold and windy, absolutely normal when the heat breaks!
And more kept coming...
A very nice loop this, on the Tsendze River north of Mopane, one is very close to the action!
RP: "How about a spot of te..."
All: "NO!"
An unmoosual angle!
This little one was shaggy but cute! He was nervous though, which is why the pic is a bit blurry....
Then he lost his mommy...CHAOS!
Back and happy, reunited!
Dimwits: "Awwwwwww....family! "
RP: " "
Still not sure what was going on here at Mopane....

Re: Dimwits Bateleur 2017 - The Shining
Just after Mopane...TWO tuskers together!
Aat is too useless to identify them...and the big one wouldn't move one inch! The year before we also saw a giant on the way out, Shikomu, and he didn't move a muscle either!
This must be a truck...and not at night either!
The Dimwits vomited all over the car...
Our last predator!
Then our last sighting...a mentally defective juvenile bateleur!
He was walking determinedly down the roadside on some mission or other. Normally there is roadkill or something, but not this one. Not scared of cars either.
These are very rare pics for my little Nipponese camela, as light was bad but filtered!
A nice closeup showing the unique face colour!
Bat: "Right! Mission accomplished!"
Bat: "Gooodbyeeeeeee...."
THE END
This was a loverly trip indeed, I must say, with nice sightings and experiences!
Thanks for following!

That roadkilled tortoise makes me so angry...
Great Bateleur shots RP! Nice to see a couple of pics where i don't need eagle-eyes and a vivid imagination to make out the animal.
Disappointed that you can't get your Elephants identified though. They look like very big units.
When is your next trip into the park?
