HAZYVIEW – The R538 is still closed due to service delivery protests near Numbi Gate. Motorists are still urged to use alternate routes.
Teresa Dias

HAZYVIEW – The R538 has been closed due to a volatile service delivery protest that is still in progress. According to provincial police spokesman Sgt Gerald Sedibe, protesters have blockaded the roads in the area.

“No violence towards motorists have been reported as yet.”

He urged motorists to use alternate routes until the situation has been stabalised.
