Sort of just before the Gomondwane loop hits the S-137 from the South!

But I'm not sure...exactly..it was a regular spot for weeks last year!

Day 1 Part 6:

So we returned to Camp replete, after being absolutely satiated with hyena sightings for years to come!

















However, as Kruger normally does, the hyenas were taking no chances, and we found another den in a culvert on the tar road near camp!


























It was really dark by now, and my miraculous camera barely managed these pics!


Scipio: "The blooming things are too close again!...I only get eyelashes and private parts "

RP: "That's what you get for not planning ahead... "

Scipio: "So how did you plan ahead?"

RP: "Exactly! "

(Im not going to say anything about Phalaborwa on a busy night again... )






Notice how skinny Scipio's ears are!















I guess we saw more than 25 hyena that evening after all?















Then back to camp ASAP...wondering what the Northern Europeans were up to?

BC...we were just on a cruise and mellowing...the sunset is my favourite pic! If you get a nice sighting, so be it...easier to say for us locals, I suppose!

Yip a non local only gets so many days in the park a year, so there’s a time frame to find things. Well for me anyway Nobody else in our car seems to stress though
