The baboons look much nicer than the Kruger ones. Are they more furry

I guess it's a bit colder down here, so perhaps they are a bit furrier than their northern counterparts

Re: New Territory
Just to round off that second day, here are some of the views when driving along that 6km road to Nyathi camp
A rather interesting rock formation
Looking in the direction of the valley you follow up to the camp
The valley starts to narrow before opening up in a floodplain area by the camp
One of the low-level bridges
Sunset at the camp - looking south
And looking west
We had braaied at lunchtime so we had a light meal for supper followed by something else fresh from the fire.... chocolate cake!!
We sat back and enjoyed watching the kudu coming out at dusk, and saw our first Nyathi elephants having a wrestling match in the distance. Once it was totally dark, H did very well to spot something very special visiting the waterhole on the floodplain... it then wandered across the open areas before disappearing into more thick bush
4 of the big 5 in one day = an excellent day in Addo
TBC

Re: New Territory
Nice green scenery I would not say that Chocolate cake is " a light meal"
Wo bakes when in the park? Or did it only have to be finished in the oven?
