Lions will be lions I suppose... I had hoped that we might catch them getting up but they looked like they were staying put for a few more hours yet

Lovely meerkats \O

The baboons look much nicer than the Kruger ones. Are they more furry -O-

I guess it's a bit colder down here, so perhaps they are a bit furrier than their northern counterparts :-)

Just to round off that second day, here are some of the views when driving along that 6km road to Nyathi camp \O

A rather interesting rock formation
Image

Looking in the direction of the valley you follow up to the camp
Image

The valley starts to narrow before opening up in a floodplain area by the camp
Image

One of the low-level bridges

Sunset at the camp - looking south
Image

And looking west
Image

We had braaied at lunchtime so we had a light meal for supper followed by something else fresh from the fire.... chocolate cake!! O/\ O/\

Image

We sat back and enjoyed watching the kudu coming out at dusk, and saw our first Nyathi elephants having a wrestling match in the distance. Once it was totally dark, H did very well to spot something very special visiting the waterhole on the floodplain... it then wandered across the open areas before disappearing into more thick bush O\/ O\/ O\/
4 of the big 5 in one day = an excellent day in Addo \O \O
