I have done the S130 quite a few times. But can't recall this pan. -O-
Will make a note to look out for it in September.

Rockvale (S-36)

I spent a LOT of time there around 1990, as used to stay with a friend at Orpen! :-0

r.jpg

A- Shade (1/5) (A bush in the mornings)
B- Closeness to the water (4/5)
C- Rare mammal species (3/5) - (Predators, Sable)
D- Proximity to a camp/gate (ease of access) (3/5) (Orpen, Satara, Talamati, H-7)
E- Remoteness (off the main roads) (3/5)

= 14/25

Best sightings: Lion prides often, also often with kill.

It can be surprisingly quiet tourist-wise, but also animal-wise! lol
One looks into the sun in the evenings. :-(
