I actually hate posting on the web ..because my full res saved pics that I keep are all over 50 Mb in size and then I crush them to less than 250 kb to post.. a HUGE compression which like an orange squeezes all the goodness out ..Then depending where you post it you either get it defocused like Bookface or others all the vibrant colour gets dulled out . This is my favorite pic of the trip ..It had everything against it ..Shot at the WORST time of day 12h45!!! but it has the environment as a background showing the Mopani woodland the Roan favour ..Will make a nice export canvas I believe ..or in my lounge ..2 heavily pregnant Roan Cows which warms my heart as there are only around 35 in Kruger 90% of which are around Tsendze ..This was near Grysbok Windmill

To get the rich Mopani rust colours ..A click on pic is a must

The original of this pic is even more different than in other cases. Maybe because the colours are very dull and the light does not show at all in the posted photo -O-

The pictures are stunning O:V and I can imagine in raw format would be even better than online. ^Q^

The pics look bladdie good to me, Peter. Maybe you need a better monitor or better glasses! ^0^

Thanks especially for the detailed info around sightings. Nice they are are at Grysbok too. \O

I think there are many more than 35. A few widespread herds of 10-20 have been seen over the last few years.

I have never seen the North so dry as this late Winter ..A huge bull arrives at Thyongonyeni Windmill , Tropic of Capricorn road which resembles a wasteland ..What they eat is a mystery
