Re: Has this forum lost its way
Okie we all love our country, our parks and our forum. We won’t ever give up on something we are all passionate about. It’s in our blood.
Next trip to the bush??

Re: Has this forum lost its way
Just seen this thread, and thought I would give my 2c.
Okie, I agree 100%
I do agree that this Forum has lost it's way, and has become dull and unexciting.
There is a small handful of people who contribute in a very limited way. Mainly from a social angle. Even less in terms of wildlife and conservation.
Richprins, I think you probably recognise that.
Over recent times the bulk of your posts are either
1)re-posts of other members travel reports.
2) And a lot of posting from "that" sighting app - mainly under favourite routes, or a particular animal.
In previous discussions we all agreed that the app was the "work of the devil". However it is being used to add a significant amount of traffic to the Forum.
I also see we are now utilising the camera feed from "the other side"...Really?????????????????
What's that about???
Due to work commitments I haven't spent much time on the Forum in the past few weeks, and this will prob continue for another 2 or 3 months.
Can't say I miss my time away.

What do you intend by " Mainly from a social angle"
"Even less in terms of wildlife and conservation." Every day we post articles and videos on wildlife and conservation!
Don't forget that it's the members who make the forum. As far as I remember your contributions have not been very productive and the above is all but constructive criticism.

The admin, mods and a few dedicated members of this forum are trying their best to keep topics active and interesting, but it can't just be up to them. If members are not enjoying what they are seeing on the forum they are most welcome, and in fact enoucouraged, to start fresh, new topics.

Re: Has this forum lost its way
Some people will grab a bull by it’s horns to try and make a difference, others will run away.
And after a while they would ask questions why things happened and why parks are falling apart....
But we all need to stand strong and make a difference, not just for us but for our children
