Re: Richprins' Short Business Trips to The Park
The cheetahs were boringly resting again, so I took some artsy tea-infused shots, as the sun peeped out!
I don't know what car it is, but it would make a good advert pic!
And another:

Then back to camp to get things sorted!
The animals had raided the bin after leftover avocado, which seems irresistible to the MUDDY warthogs!
Some wet mongeese!
Their entrance hole in the fence...

Re: Richprins' Short Business Trips to The Park
Now a "challenging" time began. Firstly I was in tears as the laptop struggled terribly with the Bulls game which was live.
Momprins was serenely relaxing, so I got the fire started for a rare braai for me, plus pap and sheba, my favourite!
Some dear soul had spent time working out the mystic arts of the Kruger hotplates, an impossible business I remember even from my childhood days, so I was very impressed!
However, it was a horrible trick after all, as left and right did not even correspond to the actual plates.
So it was damned hard work, putting both plates on full blast and juggling the pap and sheba around, using the main switch!
This is actually potentially very dangerous, as it would be easy to forget to put the main switch off, leaving the next tourist to get burnt!
Anyway, I was upbeat, as during our previous Mom-son trip to PK we had a catastrophic attempt at making sosaties in the freezing preceding winter, with a batch of terrible wood, and had to finish them off in the microwave. This time the fire was perfect, and they were going like a boeing, as they say!
Then the heavens opened...
So raw sosaties for me, a couple were done enough for Momprins, fortunately!

I am rather shocked by the hotplates. I know that it is a Sanparks thing, but it is completely impossible to use them and dangerous too I hope that you have complained
How can you eat pap and I suppose that you had tinned sheba? (Sheba is cat food up here )
