Pap has no taste and is a kind of porridge that (I think) originally was supposed to be eaten in the morning to boost energy. I must admit though, that I have only tried it once at a picnic site in Kruger, some 12/15 years ago

Pap is my staple diet in the bush..Part of my DNA..With Tomato , Onion and Bean sauce ..its Delish ..Chakalaka (Home made) is also great with pap

And before you know it a hyena will force its head through that hole and another kid gets bitten in the face

Hyenas will only bite if you are asleep outside ..They are scared of Humans even children ..Take down all fences they are givers of false security..Just sign the indemnity form and enjoy the bush

I am rather shocked by the hotplates. I know that it is a Sanparks thing, but it is completely impossible to use them and dangerous too I hope that you have complained

Finally someone had the courage to say it out loud… From the first time - aeons ago - I was torn between
liking the idea of what SA sheba consists of and the fact that it's cat dinner over here

I have no idea what "pap" or "sheba" is, but sounds like I haven't really missed out on much All you world travelers need to enlighten me so I can avoid these concoctions masquerading as legitimate food

When I was small I used to eat it as porridge with milk and sugar, which was ok, but I've never been able to stomach stywe pap.
