PR, had you posted your cheetahs sighting around Kij Kij on Facebook? I must have seen it somewhere because I had already IDed the mum as Precious. :-)

That hyena is in a bad way, but maybe will make it? O-/ O-/ O-/

Love the eland, they are always so photogenic when they stand still1 [O]
Thanks RP, he was in a bad way, not sure if he made it, saw him 2 days later around the water hole, was not moving away
Lisbeth wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 1:38 pm A lovely eland sighting and the one has some long horns

Poor Hyena, but the wound looks rather superficial

The other Hyeana looks nice; it does not have the usual smooth black face, but hairy and nicely coloured (maybe a youngster -O- ) ^Q^ ^Q^

Also the kudus are a nice sighting \O

Thanks Lisbeth, yes he was a youngster
Flutterby wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 3:34 pm Ouch, that poor hyena!!

Lovely pics of the eland and other brownies. \O
Thanks Flutterby

Thanks Peter, We have not been to lucky there on other days
Dindingwe wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 9:02 pm Lovely pictures of landscapes and sunset on page 6 ^Q^
Close pictures of the Elands, they are more fearful elsewhere.
Poor Hyena!
Thanks Dindingwe
Mel wrote: Sat Jun 29, 2019 12:35 pm A fabulous puffie sighting! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

I also like the colours at Gharagab, the steenbok taking a rest (great angle!), the "astonished" snake-eagle, the elands and the second brownie. O\/

The first brownie looks really bad though. Poor thing
Thanks Mel

The "normal" sightings are well worth it in the golden hours in the morning or the late afternoon
On our last trip we had to waste so much of that precious time because we didn't find anything at all 0*\
