We carried on going north......

We turned off towards Shingwedzi to take another toilet break and to stretch the legs but before the camp we found this hippo family enjoying the sun

It was strange to see them still laying in the sun as it was almost lunch time and pretty hot.

We arrived at Shingwedzi but didn't stay too long as we wanted to get to camp early


Next trip to the bush??

Very true and i think during winter months it takes them longer to heat up in the sun -O-

I saw two hippos grazzing in February at 13:00 O**
