but now they moved again a bit and we hardly could see them anymore as a tree was blocking the view

but we simply had to roll a bit backwards and we could see them again in full glory but mom changed her spot as obviously where she was lying the sun started to come through the leaves a bit too much

and also the cub followed mom and now they were indeed a bit too hidden

and also for us it was time as after meanwhile 3 hours with the leopards the nature was calling heavily but the leopards made us the decision easy as now they we already for a while invisible. On our way to Tschanga look out we had to stop for resting waterbucks,

a lot of impalas and zebras

and after we did the necessary at Tschaga and after we even stretched our legs a bit we once again returned to the spot where the leopards were as same was not that far but we never got any more hold of them so we carried on and now had time to stop a while on the causeway where we spotted a hamerkop

as well as a green backed heron relatively close.

The rest of our drive on this road turned then out to be extreme quiet again but we noticed another pair of saddle billed storks in one of the loops where you are getting closer to the river,

an elephant bull appeared somewhere along that road

and at the causeway close to Red Rocks we spotted another hamerkop.

Then for sure a stop at Red Rocks is always a must as you are on top allowed to leave the vehicle at the view point but overall it was quiet there especially birdingwise.

You were lucky to have the sun on the Red Rocks road. Everything is much more beautiful. It is a lovely road \O

Adult leopards are, to me, one of the most beautiful animals on Earth, but their cubs take top prize. So happy you had such a wonderful experience to share with all of us. ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^
