True, they might not be pretty, but they make up for the fact how quickly they grow. Amazing to watch!

Thirteenth & fourteenth night @ Urikaruus Honeymoon
Another pretty good experience - and that was over several trips - was watching Charlie No. 1 (she's gone by now but Charlie No. 2 took over ) raising her kids practically in the middle of the camp. Well, at least until in one particular year some German dofkop thought it apt to basically crawl into her den to get good photos of the puppies. Luckily for me, that was years after this particular experience, so I still got to see a few more sets of offspring. But these days, the foxes keep their distance (unless begging for food which also hadn't happened back then )
