Re file 16

from: WANDA WESO£OWSKA, A revision of the spider genus Menemerus in Africa (Araneae: Salticidae)
Legs orange, only first pair with brown femora.
\O
Pedipalp brown, white hairs on pedipalp femur.
\O

And I have been looking again at hundreds of photos and the only one with the white "knee" in the pedipalp and the white ring on the carapace is Menemerus.

I think you are spot on ^Q^

Prof Braack says:

I recognize the moth, and it is fairly common and likes to come sit at cooldrink bottles or beer cans and sip at whatever fluid there is at the "lip" of the bottle or can. Unfortunately I cannot give you a name because all my reference books are in South Africa, not here where I am

Much easier to navigate now that it'a cleaned up. \O

Okay, I need to write up 1) Thyene ogdeni - leighi group cf T. leighi, Leigh's Jumping Spider (immature male)
2) Menemerus bifureus (both file 6 and file 16 are same species, correct?)

After that I have more to post, just don't want to get too far behind. Will work on these two today.

I just entered those two in the book, but left out the pics of file 6 pending your opinion on whether it is the same (as file 16 I posted in the actual entry). Thanks!

Menemerus sp. of some kind?
Sept./Kruger - taken same date and within 13 minutes of the one you posted as Menemerus sp. yesterday

2017 file 7

This one has a diff. abdomen pattern and diff. color palpi, and maybe white "knees" ;-)

Sept./Kruger - taken 4 days later than the above

2017 file 9

It looks like it MAY also have the white "knees" if you look close at pics 2 and 3, there is a white line at the joint near the right eye. -O-
\O maybe a Menemerus, and there IS a whitish knee (but small) and the femora are dark in the 1st leg.

All the IDs without dorsal view are more or less speculation, IMO lol
