Your woodie shows the extensive white underwing.
No chestnut (as for Grey-headed and Brown-hooded) and no black shoulder (as for Striped) on the underwing - no doubt a Woodie

Its a Brown Hooded Kingfisher ..Common in Kgalagadi A Woodland Kingfisher has a Black Bottom Bill Not Red and A Woodlands is Blue all over the back
