Mpila tented Camp

Not sure if I'm in the right place here, apologies if not.

Can anyone comment on the condition of the tents in the tented camp at Mpila? The last few times we stayed in one there were an increasing number of problems such as torn zips, gas stoves with blocked gas feeds, broken and dangerous steps, broken gates, bars missing from deck fencing, window blinds not sticking down kitchen doors not closing properly etc. This was two years ago. Has any maintenance/refurbishing/reconditioning been carried out since then?

Have heard from friends visiting in March 2020 that it was still falling apart with broken zips etc, filthy and lots of rats nesting in the kitchen cupboards.
