Attakwas Valley Cape Nature Reserve.
We spent Christmas remote camping in this conservancy over Christmas. What a view from our campsite.. No humans , Roads, Wifi, Shops, Electricity >> SUBLIME

Its actually Full of Afromontane Forest and Fynbos . Its in a High Rainfall area too rain all year round being 35 kms straight line from the Coast . Yes from over those Mountains it gets drier and soon becomes Little Karoo and 80 kms north the rainfall whats left of it hits the Swartberg and over that is the dry Great Karoo >> Prince Albert Northwards to Kgalagadi 1000 kms north. The Bushes in front on the open slope are Protea Bushes >> part of the Fynbos Biome

Was the picture taken from rather far away, as the Fynbos Biome is difficult to spot? Excluding the "barren" mountain behind..........

Yes it was taken at 300mm Strength lens to give a compressed Perspective so was a few Kms away in real life >> Outeniqua Mts
