Back at camp, we noticed that someone before us must have thrown a tomato away into the tree at campsite no 6

We spent a restful evening at a lodge in Keimos that evening, before returning to Cape Town on the Monday

What a nice goodbye from the cheetah, Gavin!
And wild tomatoes in the desert!
Keimoes looks wonderful indeed!
Thanks so much for this trip, as always, you had great sightings all round!

I do not quite agree with the above. In the past you have had much better days than this time

The tomato plant is quite something

At least you had a nice goodbye from the cheetahs

Looks like a nice lodge for the last night, without having to unpack and pack

Until next time

Already 5 years that I can't no more go out and I miss all my SA friends and the Kgalagadi of course... and the nature, fauna etc.

Take care of you Debbie, I really hope you are better, and of yourself too Gavin

Kgalagadi lover… for ever

Thanks everyone for following and commenting on our travel tale, as well as for the photo nominations. They are all really appreciated
To nan (Whom we have met on numerous occasions) thank you, and Debbie and I send love and hope that you are keeping well. I know that our travel tales help in keeping you in the Kgalagadi even though you can't get here anymore.

Hi Gavin >> fantastic Report >> I see that you went to Rooiputs on entering and again at the end >> was this because of the Rule only 5 Nights per booking >> thats a real drag for us as we take most of a day putting up camp and another half Day taking down >> so typically we USED to go for 3 weeks and have 10 at Nossob camping and then 10 at Rooiputs ..So you basically had 10 nights at Rooiputs ?? but in 2 x Sclhepp moves in instead of the old 1 x in and stay .. What are they trying to prove in Gabs ???
