The prey looks like a yellow mongoose?

It must be a Southern-masked weaver, probably a subadult growing the black mask of the males.

And the raptor is a black-breasted snake eagle You can see a little white sticking out

Could it be a Whistling Rat? The tail looks to slim to be a mongoose

Thanks for the IDs. Yep, the prey is rather puzzling as the fur looks coarse and yellowish
